Actor Biographies


Jef Valentine (Frank N Furter)


Of his recent performance in the title role of Charles Busch’s "Theodora; She-Bitch of Byzantium" with Thrillpeddlers, the SF Weekly declared "Valentine commands the stage like a true empress". Other credits include Christina in "Christmas with the Crawfords" at Theatre Rhinoceros/Artfull Circle, Miss Texas in "Pageant" at Oregon Cabaret Theatre in Ashland, "Dirty Little Secret" at the Empire Plush Room, Midnight Mass Players and countless appearances at the legendary Trannyshack. Guiness World Record holder for Longest Distance Tap Dance (9.6 miles) This one’s for Jennifer.



Jason Hoover (Brad Majors)


Jason moved to San Francisco after a brief tour on the East Coast. He is a graduate of the University of California at Riverside. He has performed in a variety of shows including: "MacBeth" (Macduff), "Into the Woods" (Baker), "Cabaret" (Emcee), "Shakespeare's R&J" (Student 3) and just finished a six month run in "Insignificant Others" at Pier 39. Jason is currently recording a CD for no particular reason. He would like to thank his parents for their support and the Nolans for their couch.



Rebecca Pingree (Janet Weiss)


Rebecca thinks "it's so dreamy" to be making her Ray of Light debut with The Rocky Horror Show. You may have seen her as Gertrude in Berkeley Playhouse Theatre's "Seussical", Hope in Altarena Playhouse's "Urinetown" or Mistress Ford in SubShakes "The Merry Wives of Windsor".



Scott Gessford (Rocky)


Scott's Bay Area credits include the hit show "Insignificant Others" and "Shopping! The Musical". He has previously performed at regional theaters throughout the country playing Ren in Footloose, Kenickie in Grease, and Harbison in South Pacific. Other memorable credits include Evita, Camelot, Seasons of Love and California Dreamin'. He has also appeared in numerous commercials and industrial films, in addition to working as a voice-over artist. Scott earned a BFA in Acting from the University of South Dakota and now happily calls San Francisco home.



Sarah Kathleen Farrell (Columbia)


Sarah recently ended a yearlong run as the spunky lead Margaret in "Insignificant Others" at Pier 39, having originated the role for the show's commercial premiere in 2007. A recent graduate of SFSU, Sarah has performed such roles as Maria in "West Side Story" and Hope Cladwell in "Urinetown". She'd like to thank her father for showing her "Rocky" at the incredibly awkward age of twelve; she really hasn't been the same since.



Manuel Caneri (Riff Raff)


Rocky Horror marks Manuel's second appearance with Ray Of Light. He was last seen here as Roger in Grease. He has also worked with Broadway By The Bay, Palo Alto Players, Hillbarn, Bus Barn, Foothill Music Theatre, Pear Avenue among others. Favorite roles include Seymour in "Little Shop of Horrors", Pharaoh in "Joseph", Scapino in "Scapino", Garry in "Noises Off", Rooster in "Annie", Jesus in "Godspell", Franky in "Forever Plaid" and many others. Manuel is thrilled to be part of this smokin' hot Rocky Horror Cast!



Jessica Coker (Magenta)


Jessica is thrilled to be a part of the Rocky Horror madness. She recently appeared with Ray of Light in "Songs for a New World", "Bat Boy", "A Little Bit in Love" and the New Year's Eve Gala. She has also been seen in "Asphalt Beach" (Deb) with TheatreWorks, "Eight Track", "Sounds of the Seventies" with TOSPS and "Shawn Ryan, Live at the Herbst" in San Francisco . Love to her family, friends and Rob for all their support.



Leanne Borghesi (Eddie)


Leanne is titillated to join the ROLT family once again! She is a bay area cabaret, theatre, film, voiceover and performance artist. As SF Faux Queen Ms. Anita Cocktail, this "Big Boned Comedian" has credits coast to coast from non-profit to world premieres. She was Meredith in Ray of Light's production of "Bat Boy" and Rose in "The Secret Garden". Other credits include "Accidentally Double Booked", "Psycho Beach Party", "Tommy", "Help Is On The Way For The Holidays at the Herbst, "A Very Merry Disco Christmas" at the Castro, the World Premiere of UP YOUR A$$ and many other solo and group adventures!



Amanda Dolan (Usherette)


Amanda is so happy to be performing in Rocky Horror! After spending most of 2008 producing Emo! The Musical with her company, Beards Beards Beards, Amanda is pleased to return to the stage. Previous roles include Miss Pennywise in Urinetown, Nellie in Floyd Collins, and the Ensemble Member in Emo! The Musical.



Theresa Ireland (Phantom / Dance Captain)


Theresa is thrilled to be in San Francisco working her craft that she is very passionate about. Since dancing from the age of three, Theresa is a choreographer at heart. But after immersing herself into the world of theater and film, she found the love for musicals, comedy, drama, and improvisation. She can be seen in a variety of commercials and music videos as well. Theresa currently performs in the longest running off-Broadway show, "Tony 'n Tina's Wedding".



Nicole Gonzalez (Phantom)


Nicole, a native New Yorker, is making her debut with Ray of Light Theater playing a Phantom. Hot off the press, graduating with her BFA in Motion Pictures and Television from the Academy of Art University, where she has acted in dozens of student films and independent films. Playing Winnifred in Once upon a Mattress. She has also been the frontwoman of the San Francisco Rock Band, Plasticade for over 7 years now. Loves filming and creating improvisational music, running and yogilates.



Alexis Wong (Phantom)


Alexis is proud to be making her Ray of Light debut with these talented, titillating thesbians. Last seen as Kim in "Sweetie Tanya, the Demon Barista of Valencia Street" at the Exit Theater, she also originated the roles of Lily Sun in "The Chinese Angle" at SF Playhouse and Sarah in "The Clown Bible" at Temescal Labs. An alliterative, campy, cult musical fan, other roles include: 'Gigi' - {the 99-cent} Miss Saigon, 'Dr. Charlotte' u/s - 'Falsettoland'. Alexis studies locally with Richard Nickol, Bobby Weinapple and has a BA in Architecture from UCB, but only mentions it to seem smart.



Lonnie Haley (Phantom)


Lonnie is extremely enthusiastic about his return to the theater, and fourth production with the Ray of Light theater company. “Haley has a powerful voice that resonates through the whole theatre”, said Richard Connema of talkingbroadway.com, when speaking of his role as the Bullfrog, in Honk. His additional credits include: ROLT’s “A Little Bit in Love & New Years Eve Gala, “The Jungle Book” (Bagheera), “Jesus Christ Superstar” (King Herod), “A Chorus Line” (Ritchie), “Once on this Island” (Daniel Beauxhomme), “Angels in America” (Belize) and many more. This performance is dedicated to my loving, and extremely supportive, friends. The Sketchforce, SF Treat & Twin Peaks Tavern.



Joey Greenwell (Phantom)


Joey was raised on a small farm in rural Kentucky, but has been in the Bay Area for 9 years now and loves it. He currently serves as the Director of Student Programs and Leadership Development at SF State. Joseph received his BM in music (piano) and psychology from Vanderbilt University, and his MED in Higher Education Administration from the Peabody College, Vanderbilt University. Joey also studied theater while in college with VUT (Vanderbilt University Theater). Having previously played such roles as Tusenbach in Chekhov's "Three Sisters", Romeo in Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" and Phantom in Ken Hill's "Phantom of the Opera"; Joey is excited to make his comeback with Ray of Light's production of The Rocky Horror Show.



Steven Slatten (Phantom)


Steven is thrilled to be a part of ROLT's production of The Rocky Horror Show. Favorite roles include "Godspell" (Jesus), "Bat Boy: the Musical" (Pan) and "Letters from the Front" (Gene) "Subrosa: (Amber Zombette)" As a vocalist he has been featured at "Drag at Martuni's," and in "Steven Slatten: Broadway Now & Forever," You can currently see him in the long running hit “Tony & Tina’s Wedding at San Francisco’s Pier 39. Enrique Vallejo (Phantom)


Enrique Vallejo is honored to return to Ray of Light Theatre. Enrique started acting in high school and studied dance extensively in college and the Alvin Ailey Dance Center in New York City. A Bay Area native, he attended Wesleyan University in Connecticut where he earned a B.A. in Psychology. Past productions include ROL's Seussical, Rumpus' Bound and Gagged in the SF Fringe Festival, and Bent and Medea: The Musical at Theatre Rhinoceros.



Paul Ziller (Phantom)


Paul embraces the RHS mantra: "Don't dream it, be it." This is his 5th ROLT show. He has also played on the stages of 42nd Street Moon and Broadway By the Bay. Fav roles: Cinderella's Prince in "Into the Woods", Diesel in "West Side Story", and Frankincense in "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers". He took part in the world premiere of Philip Glass' "Appomattox" at the San Francisco Opera. By day he is Art Director at www.digtalbrewing.com.
