Ray of Light Theatre in San Francisco is Proud to Present

The Venue

The 500-seat Victoria Theatre, the oldest operating theatre in San Francisco, celebrates its centennial anniversary this year. It was built in 1908 as a vaudeville house, where icons like Mae West performed on its stage. Over the years it became a movie theatre, then a burlesque house, and finally was restored in 1979 to its original glory. This theatre is the perfect venue for "The Rocky Horror Show": it evokes the gothic beauty of the film and is grand enough for this larger-than life show. In recent years, the Victoria Theatre has hosted the successful rock shows Hedwig and the Angry Inch and Bat Boy: The Musical (which was also produced by Ray of Light Theatre).
